It’s that wonderful time of year again to make goals for myself that I never fulfill. You’d be surprised but the disappointment never fails. Neither do the excuses. I always see those people on facebook post bull shit stuff like, “if you want to make a change in your life, why do you have to wait until New Years?” blah blah blah. Because some people need that special occasion to get the ball rolling. Whatever excuse or reason they need, isn’t what’s important the fact that they are deciding to change something? Yeah, I would say so. Anyway, getting back to the point, I always make goals that I never keep up with or keep putting off until… never basically. But like the procrastinator that I am, it has reached that dead line, the point in time where it is now or never. I’m at that age where I am extremely susceptible to getting diabetes if I don’t lose weight. I am at that year of college where I need to start taking my classes seriously or all of it is going to be a waste. I am at that critical point where my faith is getting tested by the temptations. And on and on with the reasons.
So here it is, my resolution list for the New Year:
Get down to 125 pounds.
Don’t get lower than B’s for grades.
Read the Bible at least every Sunday and start going to church again.
Get an internship (paid, preferably).
Maintain good relationships w/ boyfriend, friends, and family.
I guess those are the main ones. I mean of course there are little goals here and there, but they generally fall under the categories of the big 5 I just listed. So there it is. MY RESOLUTIONS.
